Andrew T. Mittendorf
About
Born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon, Andrew graduated from Southridge High School in 2011, after which he went to Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, and received a B.A. in Politics in 2015. While there, he worked for a Senator in the Oregon Legislature. Upon graduation, Andrew continued to work for the Senator, eventually joining the Senator in the Oregon Senate Minority Office. He focused his policy research there on Judiciary, Environment and Natural Resources, and Education. In 2017, Andrew returned to Willamette University for law school and graduated with a J.D. in 2020 with certificates in both Law and Government and Business Law. While in law school, Andrew worked in the Oregon Senate and worked with a lawyer in Portland, Oregon assisting both non-profit and for-profit clients.
Andrew's extensive experience in state government gives him insight into the inner workings of the state of Oregon Departments. His exposure to and working on recent legislation also ensures he knows current Oregon law.
Andrew assisted in securing a $300,000.00 jury verdict in federal court in 2020 and has successfully negotiated settlements against numerous small and large public and private employers.
When not practicing law, Andrew enjoys playing golf, home-brewing beer, and spending time with family and friends.
In 2023, Andrew began serving a 3-year term in the Oregon State Bar Association House of Delegates for Region 4. Andrew also serves as president of the Sherwood Rotary. Additionally, Andrew is a member of the Multnomah County Bar Association, the Oregon Bar, the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, the Federalist Society, Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, and the Christian Legal Society. In addition, Andrew serves on Delta Zeta Sigma Chi's alumni advisory board. Andrew is licensed to practice in both federal and state courts of Oregon and the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.
